Welcome to the Columbia Triathlon & Duathlon, one of the most challenging and longest running triathlons in America. This year marks the 35th year of this world-class event, a great tradition of the region and the sport. Triathletes from across the country and around the world converge on Howard County, MD for this widely acclaimed Olympic distance race that began in 1984 with 90 trailblazing athletes.
This race benefits the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults, an organization that strives to change lives by creating a community of support for young adults, and their loved ones, impacted by cancer.
RACE CATEGORY OPTIONS
Ages 16 & up can compete in this Olympic Distance Triathlon with a .93 Mile Swim, 25 Mile Bike and 6.2 Mile Run.
Ages 16 & up can compete in the Duathlon at the Columbia Triathlon, a 2.2 Mile run, 25 Mile Bike and 6.2 Mile Run
Ages 16 & up can compete in only the swim and bike portion of the event.
2 or 3 individuals can team up to compete together in the Triathlon Relay.
