In addition to the free 90-day Package Plan Plus membership to Columbia Association, registered participants also have the option to participate in a Triathlon Training Program. 

Columbia Triathlon and Iron Girl Participants who have activated their 90 day free membership will receive the member price.

Class Structure:
First 40 minutes: Strength and core via TRX®, Physio Balls, mat work and running plyometrics

Gain power and speed by focusing on the core, balance, agility, jump training, body weight training, TRX®, and kettlebells.

Run Training for Triathletes at Columbia Athletic Club:

Beginner/Intermediate Level
8-week session starts February 18; 4-week session starts April 22

Comprehensive running program designed for beginner and intermediate level triathletes that includes how to perform a proper dynamic stretching warm-up, post-run static stretching, plus key exercises for developing a strong core and for keeping your hips and legs healthy. This class delivers a combination of outdoor group runs, treadmill runs, core strength work and stretching.

The prices for the 8-week session are $160 for CA members and $200 for nonmembers. The prices for the 4-week session are $80 for CA members and $100 for nonmembers.

 

Tri-Training Program at Supreme Sports Club:

4-week sessions start February 14, March 14 and April 18

Focus is on “force production” through strengthening and emphasizing core stability; gain muscular endurance through workload progressions and H.I.I.T. training; plus develop performance measures through swim, bike and run trials.
